Notice of Regular Safety and Security Meeting
A regular meeting of the Safety and Security Committee for the Chisum Independent School District Spring session will be held on July 21, 2025 beginning at 12:00 P.M. in the Administration Building 3250 S. Church Paris, Texas 75462
The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on this meeting notice.
Unless removed from the consent agenda,items identified within the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.
Committee Members: Sheriff Cass, Chief Deputy Tommy Moore, Superintendent Tommy Chalaire, Chisum Police Chief Vance Boehler, School Board President Travis Ball, School Board Member Judd Oats, Emergency Manager Quincy Blount, Fire Chief Thomas McMonigle and Teacher/Parent Tricia Chalaire

1.Call to Order
2.Update everyone on testing our panic button system and where KLC is on completing the project. KLC will also be present to speak to everyone about the project
3.Update Committee of the new construction and the lay down yard behind the football field where equipment will be stored at.
4. Make sure that the Paris Police Department and Lamar County Sheriff’s Office send KLC a copy of all the Officers information to get them set up with the Panic Button system.
5. Let the committee know about putting solid fencing around the Elementary playground and on the North end of the Middle School in the next couple of years when the new High School is complete and the Elementary campus splits at 3rd through 5th grade will be at the Middle School
If during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the committee will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act,Government Code,Chapter 551, Subchapter D and E. Before any closed meeting is convened,the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes,actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
