CHIPS Education Foundation
Chisum High Incentive Program For Seniors
The Chisum Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarship funds for any student graduating from Chisum High School. Whether students are entering a 2 or 4 year college, seeking a license or certification from a trade school or specialty program, CHIPS wants to help every senior make a successful transition towards their career path.
Our community is made up of dedicated leaders and businessmen and women who continually give back to our school system. CHIPS simply enables that cycle to continue by setting our seniors up for success so that they can work towards becoming our future community leaders.
Scholarship Information
The Chisum Education Foundation is able to provide scholarship funds to graduating seniors through it's two main fundraising functions. A benefit golf tournament is held in the fall of every year, and an auction is held at our spring banquet. Both of these events could not happen without the dedicated support of our Mustang Family. Alumni, community businesses, school employees and district families aid the foundation in fund raising and working these events.
Every graduating senior is encouraged to fill out a scholarship application, and is eligible for funds, providing they are continuing their education. Applications are then sent to a committee, which uses a point system to determine the amount of scholarship each senior will receive.
The CHS counselor, will make sure every senior has access to the application in the spring.
