TAEA YAM Capitol Exhibit

Location: Bullock Texas State History Museum, 1800 Congress Ave, Austin, TX, 78701

Show Dates: March 2nd - March 29th

Chisum High School Art student Kamora Scott has been selected to exhibit at the Bullock Museum in Austin. This exhibit will run during the month of March, recognized as Youth Art Month nationwide. Kamora will represent Chisum ISD in a show that collects k-12 artwork from all over Texas.

National K-12 Ceramic Foundation

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Show Dates: March 26th - March 28th

Chisum High School Art Student Gracyn Whitaker was selected to exhibit at this year's National K-12 Ceramic Foundation Show. Gracyn's artwork was selected from over 1,000 k-12 art submissions. Her work will be featured among the best of the best student ceramic artworks. The show will run concurrently with the annual National Council on Ceramic Art Education Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her work will be seen by an international audience of thousands.

LMFA 65th Student Invitational

Location: Longview Museum of Fine Arts, 215 E Tyler St, Longview, TX 75601

Show Dates: March 6th - May 10th

The Longview Museum of Fine Art Student Invitational is an annual art contest with over 300+ artworks from high school art students in East Texas. Chisum is exhibiting 18 entries this year. Student Participants: Ava Boone, Memphis Bridgers, Ava Brown, Kyson Fortner, Blaine Holland, Jade Morphew, Zolee Rushin, Dominic Santana, Haylea Sessums, Maegan Sikes, Kamora Scott, Memphis Spangler, Maricruz Teran, Peyton Tucker-Booth, Gracyn Whitaker, Zali Waldrip, Jada Williams, and Teresa Zermeno. Peyton Tucker-Booth received a second place cash prize award for her black and white drawing.

New Talent 25 - Kilgore College

Location: Anne Dean Turk Fine Art Gallery, Kilgore College Campus, 1100 Broadway Blvd, Kilgore, TX 75662

Show Dates: Monday, March 24th through Thursday, April 17th, 2025

Chyanna Childres, Sabrina Dyck, Ansley Fisher, Jade Morphew, and Peyton Tucker-Booth were selected for the Kilgore College New Talent Juried Student Show. Only 39 pieces were selected from over 150+ submissions, 7 are Chisum artworks.

TMA 21st Annual High School Art Exhibit

Location: Tyler Museum of Art, 1300 South Mahon, Tyler, Texas 75701

Show Dates: March 23 - May 18th

The Tyler Museum of Art hosts an annual show for high school seniors and select juniors. Chisum has 5 students participating: Sabrina Dyck, Skylar McCurley-Pruitt, Ember Morrison, Adriana Serrano, and Peyton Tucker-Booth.
