CMS One Act Play takes Third Place
The Chisum Middle School One-Act Play (CMS OAP) Cast and Crew presented "A Thousand Cranes" by Katherine Schultz Miller at their District 12-AAA Middle School OAP Competition. The competition was held at the Chisum Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, December 17th. There were a total of seven schools in attendance. They were honored to receive THIRD PLACE amongst some very tough competition. 

Three students were also awarded individual accomplishments as well.
  1. Miss Olivia Miles was awarded an All-Star Cast Medal for her role as Sadako.
  2. Mr. Dillon Pierce was awarded an Honorable Mention All-Star Cast Medal for his role as Father. 
  3. Miss Brooklyn Birdsong was awarded the Tech Award for her work as the play's light technician.

CMS OAP has been directed by Mrs. Trevelyn Marsh for the past seven years. Mrs. Marsh has been assisted by Mrs. Mallie Johnson for the past three. 

The directors would like to thank Mr. John Marsh, Chisum's Director of Fine Arts, Mr. Aaron Bridges, CMS Principal, Mr. Tommy Chalaire, CMS Superintendent, and all the parents and staff for their support.
